Installation Guide for Ceramic Fiber Modules
1. Installation method:
Rust removal from the furnace plate → Weld the module bolts to the furnace wall plate → Remove the module → Screw the module guide rod onto the small end of the threaded rod → Pass the module through the central hole, resting it against the furnace plate via the guide rod → Use a dedicated wrench to tighten the nut onto the threaded rod → Unscrew the guide rod → Proceed sequentially with the installation of the remaining modules → Extract the plastic tube from the center of the module → Untie the module’s strapping bands → Compress and install the expansion blanket → Install the next row of folded modules.
2. Installation Requirements:
◎ The welding position of the anchor nails shall be accurate, with strict control of tolerances.
◎ First install the backing layer, then proceed with the installation of the fiber modules.
@Install the furnace top module first, then install the furnace wall.
◎ The installation of furnace wall modules shall commence from the bottom and proceed upward.
◎ Modules are typically arranged in a unidirectional “soldier‑row” configuration; after installing one row of modules, the lining compensation blanket should be compressed and laid according to specifications.
◎ At the junctions between the ceiling and walls, as well as between wall and wall, a compression‑type compensating blanket shall be installed.
3. Surface Finishing:
◎ After the folding module is installed, it should be carefully inspected. Gaps larger than 5 mm must be filled with expansion blankets.
◎ After the fiber blanket has been fully packed, use square wooden boards to level the surface of the folded modules.
