Aluminum silicate ceramic fiberboard is a refractory‑grade aluminum silicate fiber board. Even after heating, it retains excellent mechanical strength. Compared with fiber blankets and felts, this product offers rigid structural integrity and superior load‑bearing capacity. In recent years, the applications of aluminum silicate fiberboard have continued to expand. Different industries employ distinct installation methods for aluminum silicate ceramic fiberboard.

Aluminum silicate ceramic fiberboard is a refractory‑grade aluminum silicate fiber board. Even after heating, it retains excellent mechanical strength. Compared with fiber blankets and felts, this product offers superior rigidity and structural support. In recent years, the applications of aluminum silicate fiberboard have continued to expand. Different industries employ distinct installation methods for aluminum silicate ceramic fiberboard.

  I. The Decoration Industry

In recent years, aluminosilicate ceramic fiber boards have won favor among many homeowners thanks to their unique performance characteristics. For decorative applications, these boards are very easy to install. Primarily used for fire protection and thermal insulation, they are not recommended for outdoor use. It is advised that installers affix the boards to bare walls and secure them with nails. The exterior surface of the aluminosilicate ceramic fiber board should be finished with wall‑covering materials.

  II. Industrial Furnaces

  1. Clean the surface of the construction area, including the surface of the aluminosilicate fiberboard. 2. Adhesive mix ratio: Mix adhesive powder with water glass at a ratio of 1:1.2 until uniform (do not use water). 3. Use plastering tools to apply the adhesive evenly onto the surface of the insulation board, ensuring secure bonding between adjacent boards both vertically and horizontally. 3. Processing Industry and Heat‑Treatment Industry 1. Remove residual loose dust, oil stains, and other debris from the concrete wall surface, as well as any hollow or empty areas. 2. Eliminate cracked concrete fragments, inclusions, voids, and similar defects on the roof surface, then repair them accordingly. 3. The flatness deviation of the aluminosilicate fiberboard to be installed shall not exceed 4 mm. If the deviation exceeds the tolerance, grind down protruding concrete surfaces and repair recessed areas (use a 1:2.5 cement mortar finish for repairs thicker than 6 mm; use polymer‑modified adhesive mortar for repairs thinner than 6 mm), ensuring that the overall wall surface remains within 4 mm of flatness, with right angles at internal and external corners and uniform vertical alignment. 4. Construction mortars are divided into specialized bonding mortar and high‑temperature surface‑layer adhesive. 5. The weight ratio for mixing the bonding mortar is water:mortar = 1:5; add water gradually while stirring, and stir for no less than 5 minutes. Stirring must be thorough and uniform, achieving an appropriate consistency and viscosity. 6. After preparing the mortar, allow it to stand for 5 minutes, then stir again before use. Mixed mortar should be used within one hour.

The above is a brief overview of the installation procedures for aluminosilicate ceramic fiber boards across various industries. We hope this information proves helpful to you.
