  Through crushing and blending, spun-bonded cotton is better suited than spun‑bonded cotton as a raw material for ceramic fiber boards. Even after heating, ceramic fiber boards retain excellent mechanical strength; compared with fiber blankets and felts, they are more rigid and offer a certain degree of structural support as fibrous thermal insulation products.

  Manufacturing Process of Aluminum Silicate Fiber Boards

  Ceramic fibers are sprayed into a slurry containing a specified proportion of filler-grade additives and binders. The mixture is thoroughly dispersed in a pulping machine and then pumped into a forming tank, where it is stirred with compressed air. A mold is subsequently placed in the forming tank, and vacuum suction is applied to draw the fiber slurry onto the mold surface. The adsorption time must be precisely controlled; the wet fiber material is then subjected to vacuum dewatering and demolding, after which it is transferred to a pallet and sent to a drying oven for 10 to 24 hours. Finally, the dried fiberboard is processed on specialized grinding and edge‑trimming machines to ensure dimensional accuracy.

  Properties and Characteristics of Aluminum Silicate Fiber Boards

  In addition to the excellent properties of loose ceramic fiber wool, ceramic fiber boards boast a rigid structure, superior strength and toughness, excellent structural support, and outstanding resistance to wind erosion. They do not expand upon heating, are lightweight, and are easy to install—readily bendable and cuttable—making them an ideal energy‑saving material for pipelines, kilns, and other thermal‑insulation applications.

  1. Long service life and high pressure resistance;

  2. Low heat capacity and thermal conductivity;

  3. Non‑brittle material with excellent toughness;

  4. Excellent flatness and precise dimensions;

  5. Easy to cut and install, with convenient construction;

  6. Excellent resistance to wind erosion;

  7. Continuous production, stable performance, and uniform fiber distribution.

  Applications of Aluminum Silicate Fiber Boards

  1. Backing insulation for kilns in the petrochemical, metallurgical, ceramic, and glass industries;

  2. Backing insulation for kilns in the cement and other building materials industries;

  3. Backing insulation for the nonferrous metals industry;
